Hello! I am Nikki, an independent speech and language therapist working in and around Mid Suffolk (hence the name!)

I am a Highly Specialist SLT with over 17 years of paediatric experience. I am available for sessions at home, educational settings and online, and I am able to provide both assessment and therapy.

I am a neurodiversity affirming SLT who is passionate about supporting children to reach their potential. As a mum of two spirited boys I am passionate about offering a fun, holistic, child led approach through working with your child’s interests and supporting families and school staff.

Before working privately, I worked within the NHS for 8 years. I currently work with preschool and primary school aged children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs such as speech sound disorders, language needs, Autism, stammering and selective mutism.

I am trained in Attention Autism, Lego Therapy, Word Aware, Colourful Semantics, Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme, Palin PCI, Makaton, Selective Mutism and have attended training around understanding Gestalt Language Processors.
